YUFC Mascot - "ARYUTZ MHER"

It wasn't so long ago that the Yerevan United FC Founder and President, Mr. Dikran Hovivian, heard a noise outside his front door in the middle of the night. He opened the door to find no one there. However, when he looked down, he was surprised to see a basket with, what looked like a fluffy jacket inside. He picked the basket up and took it inside to inspect it further.

Once in brighter light, the President was both amazed and shocked to see a beautiful little lion cub curled up and asleep. Suddenly the cub stretched, opened its eyes, reached out and put a paw on the Presidents hand.

From that moment the President named the cub 'Aryutz Mher', kept him and raised him to what he is today a cheeky, playful character that brings joy and laughter to the crowd.
